Abbie is a Sport and Exercise Therapist who has recently graduated from Southampton Solent University with a First Class Honours. She wishes to help as many people recover from injury in the safest way possible and ensure all patients reach their goals.

At University Abbie gained experience working as an intern in the High-Performance Academy where she provided injury assessment and treatment to many athletes from various sports. Additionally, during the past 2 years of her studies Abbie shadowed Dean with the competitive divers from Southampton Diving Academy. Recently Abbie has been appointed as the new game day physio for the Men’s NBA division 1 Basketball Team Solent Kestrels where she will provide treatment, taping and rehabilitation programmes for all athletes on the team. At University Abbie attained Level 3 Nutrition for Health and Exercise award and she has also recently completed her Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.

Abbie is highly qualified in sport and soft tissue massage and strongly believes in utilising manual therapy techniques in her practices to gain optimal benefits for patients. At University Abbie completed units in Spinal and peripheral joint mobilisation which has given her an in-depth knowledge on anatomy and physiology and experience in recognising and treating joint, muscle and neural injuries. Additionally, she has studied sports conditioning gaining her REPS Level 2 qualification and can use her knowledge to create effective training programmes for each patient. Abbie is a very friendly and caring person who always puts the patient first. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, swimming, lifeguarding and taking her dogs for walks.
